I don't know how old you are, however I have watched the Lions disaster since the sixties and it all points to the Ford's I remember the awful Russ Thomas years. Best cure for the Lions, new owner.
My advice to the Fords stick to cars.

Yes, I too, have watched them since the 60s, William Clay Ford, and now Billy. I stopped watching when Barry Sanders left, which, I'll always respect (him for doing so). While it's a travesty what that family has done to a franchise, it's even more puzzling as to why people in Michigan continue to patronize said franchise. If people would simply stop going to games (or viewing them), it would inevitably force the Ford's hands in terms of selling or investing in good management (and I don't mean people like Matt Millen and/or his predecessors). Or, you could always do what Green Bay did, by making the Lions a publicly-owned enterprise. The Packers certainly have the rings to show for it. The Lions/Ford(s) haven't won anything since the 50s! Sad, really.
