NT has some talent, particularly Mitchell a first round NBA selection. The team has now won 2 on the road, against good Sun Belt teams, and shown they can come back from a 22 point deficit. They are clearly learning and improving. They are still far from a finished product, but the future looks very bright.
We are as good as the two pgs allow us to be
Having Gillon back is a big plus. He played over 20 minues, so obviously he's back in shape. We need his scoring ability. He and Josh are both winners, along with Osse. However, it severely cut into Taggart's playing time. I wonder if there was anything wrong with him, or just didn't figure into the overall game plan. Once again Gus hardly played and score more points than Javes. I'm starting to wonder about that situation also. Unless Gus just can't physically do it, he's earned the right to play more minutes than Javes.
Yag and gus got fouls called on them if they looked at someone.

That drives me crazy when everything becomes a foul. I've seen two games this year, one women and one men's, that were the best officiated games I've seen in awhile. They hardly called any fouls at all. You didn't know the officials were there. They kept the game under control by calling obviously hard fouls, but no touch fouls on the perimeter, unless the player was knocked off their feet. Then I've seen some horrible games where, like you say, if someone looked at another player they called a foul. Remember the great official we used to have. Real tall guy, who was a big time official. When he was on the crew, you knew it would be a fairly called game. I miss that guy.
He's take those long strides down the floor while remaining very erect. He was about 6'8" tall. One of you guys probably recall his name.
I haven't seen him in a couple of years. I believe his first name was Steve, but I'm not certain.

I couldn't tell you the name of any official we've ever had. I guess I don't care to know their names.
I think we need to get their names and e-mail addresses and send them nice notes when they do a good job. If they don't do well, just ignore them. No Christmas presents.

As a Taggart fan, I feel comfortable in saying that he did not appear to me to have played very well last night, conceding that, as usual, he didn't ever seem to get the benefit of the doubt on any calls.
Were his lack of minutes due to being in foul trouble?

Steve was unhappy with his performance.
