Just another example of why Sagarin's ratings are worthless. Let me get this straight- MTSU would be behind the Chickenhawgs who got smoked by a really good Mississippi team that lost to MTSU. Yeah right! That makes a lot of sense!

Realtime RPI has MTSU at 36. Would be 4th in the SEC, just behind Ole Miss (who they beat) at 35. They are about 50 spots ahead of Arkansas. That appears to be a much more accurate reflection of where the teams are at, at this moment. Of course, MTSU will take a big nose dive if they lose to just about any Sun Belt team.
