Do you want to beat the most when you play them? I won't ask why because it could degenerate to smack but I will say this: I don't care if we go 1-11 as long as we beat La. Tech. I will only expound as to why by listing this: LaTechBBB. Nuff said as far as I'm concerned.
Taking down ECU on their last season out would be great. Let em leave CUSA a little butt hurt (with all due respect)

That wont be as difficult as you think to pull off.
You're entitled to your opinion but I don't think you can judge a school or fan base by its homer message board.
Also, we're not even playing each other next year.
I will say LA Tech as well if we played them which we dont this year.
Because for years all I've heard is that LA Tech was so far above SBC teams (Despite never playing them head to head) that I would like to show them that they would not arbitrailly crush any team who came from that confrence.
If we did it this year with basically SBC level recruiting, I think that would be telling.
Other than that I dont have any thoughts about the other ones yet.

I want to beat USM in football because they seem to (generally) be the standard of the league and that will mean we have arrived. I wanted to beat ECU because they pretty much do not believe that will be possible for decades to come, but we may not get the chance to show them they are wrong.
In basketball I want to beat UAB, only because they are old friends and I would like to say hello again with a big fat 'L' for them to take home. :)
In general I am looking forward to playing Marshall more than just about anyone. There is little or no history between us, but their fans have been welcoming and I think win or lose we could develop into a nice, have a beer wtih each other, rivalry. Back in our C-USA 1.0 days Marquette was this team for us. At conference tournaments we would meet in the bar and bash Cincy. Good times.

All of them since they're all at home...and if we lose to any of them our attendance will once again diminsh like the New Orleans Aints fan base circa 1996.

LOL. Some of our biggest rivals are in the Sun Belt. Tech's record againt current SBC schools is 111-66-6.
I want to beat Louisiana Tech most of all, because that's where my sister graduated from. Dem family rivalries.

Born and raised in Louisiana. She's my half sister through my father, who was in the military, so I wasn't raised there.

Tech moved up in 1989. We are 28-7-1 against SBC teams since then.
We've only played 4 games against Sun Belt teams since the Sun Belt was formed in 2001. We beat ULL twice and North Texas twice.

I hate to classify a fan base by its Message board posters, but one of the reason I never registered over on BBB is because I saw how the majority of the posters
all over people who talked about even the possiblity that a SBC team could EVER beat a Tech team.
I guess it's really a moot point since we are all CUSA now. But the stench still lingers and I would like to beat LA Tech when we play them.

That's mostly about ULL and ULM. A lot of history of hatred there... both ways.
