I looked at it, Duke got their butt kicked.

The Butler loss is surprising.

They are starting to experience what we have for years, where EVERY team in conference is gunning for you.
Talent makes no difference, recruiting rankings make no difference, just an underdog team looking to make their season off beating you.

Hope CJP reminds the team of what they are up against every night.

Upsets in the regular season are fine. In conference tournaments are where we should be concerned if things go a little sour for us.

I just said they were fine. What am I missing here?

Add Minnesota to the list. They lost to Northwestern.

Duke got blown out. They need to get rid of Coach K because they have too much talent to lose like that.

Winning a NCAA title within the last five years gets you a little leeway. Plus K won the same holiday tournament (beating Minnesota, VCU and Louisville) that Memphis took the seventh place game. And beat Kentucky. And Ohio State. And Temple.

That's kinda the point. You win a few BIG games and people give you some slack.

According to a report today on Nashville radio, after a lopsided defeat to St Johns two years ago some Duke fans were running out of patience with Coach K. The host used it as an example of the unreasonable expectations of some fans.
