and coaches, also, I suspect. Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. If you practice mistakes, then you are just getting better at making mistakes. And since basketball is a game in which you basically react, instead of thinking because the pace is so fast, all those movement and reaction have to be trained correctly.

Incidentally, I asked Magazine girls' coach Randy Loyd if he could teach young players just one thing to learn to do, what would it be. His answer surprised me. When you catch the ball, look before you dribble. He said young players start dribbling before they see where they need to dribble, and get into trouble as a result.
I would have said "Remember to put your shorts on".
Ha Ha. I remember that game Mouzy had his game shorts on backward til half time.
With those long shorts you could probably put them on upside down, and they'd look the same.
