Could have been much worse, not a bad game

There is another way to look at this loss....it could be another nail in Murry's coffin. This philosophy could actually cause Buc fans to hope for no more wins....all those losses could help ETSU win in the end forcing a change in coaches.

34 seconds left down 2 I looked at my dad and said, we are going to come down and Jones is going to rush a 3. He throws up a off balance, falling away, facing the wrong way deep three. He caught the ball with 13 seconds left coming off a screen, but he didn't curl, he was facing the Jacksonville basket, Turned twisted and threw it up. No need at all for that shot at that time.

Bartow said he cringed when he saw Petey only got 6 minutes, that was his fault. He puts him back in with a minute and change left and he comes in and blows by everyone for a easy layup. Hmmm that might have come in handy. Jones was dog tired, he actually set down during a 30 second time out while the team was standing and didn't leave his chair till the very last second. I know Rembert had the hot hand and he wanted Jones in there but Bartow could have rested them some and given Petey more time. I think Jones and KGG played the whole game (KGG might have been subbed for once in last minute offense/defense not sure) and Wilson only came out for a few seconds at start of the second half so Bartow could yell at him andhe was subbed offense/defense in last few seconds. Mario played 2 minutes, Junior didn't take his warmups off. The team was dragging big time.

Don't look now but I'm pretty sure this has been suggested before in one form or another.

This was one of the worst mismanagement of games I've ever seen. As Rod posted, Bartow comments on Petey playing 6 minutes as if that decision was made from some celestial being. 6 minutes! Are you serious! Unacceptable. As one would expect, other than Bartow, the offense is markedly more fluid when Petey's running the show. 6 minutes. I'm in disbelief. Secondly, he doesn't start Rashawn in the 2nd half when Rashawn was blazing the nets? Third, and this is the thing that burns me the most, Bartow takes subtle barbs at Lester, commenting on Lester's lack of rebounds. I'm convinced he has it out for Lester just like he did Tubbs. Fourth, like a reoccurring nightmare, we leave shooters wide open.

This was a maddening night to be in the dome.
