Eric Fisher dominated 1 on 1 drills at the Senior Bowl this week. Many analysts are saying he has supplanted Luke Joeckel (projected #1 pick) as the #1 OT in the draft. Even if he doesn't go #1 overall, it looks like he is going to be at a minimum a top 10 pick.

I could be wrong, but I believe Leftwich was the highest player ever drafted out of the MAC at #7. Am I forgetting someone?
....Roethlisberger was the 11th player chosen in 2004 draft......didn't realize that Leftwich was taken with the 7th pick.
Won't happen. This is just draft porn.
I would guess the MAC will not see its 1st #1 overall NFL draftee this year.
Dan Williams was Number11 as well.
Both guys on CBS have him at #11 right now
walter football and sb nation both have him at #11 as well, im not an espn member so i cant check to see where Kiper has him
Kiper has Fisher at #10.
SI guy currently has Fisher at #4! 04-jawdrop
I don't think he'll go #1, although it is possible. However, when you read some of the praise coming from the Senior Bowl, it's pretty wild. One scout called him "the best player at the Senior Bowl, on either squad."

How can he put together a mock draft w/o the associated teams?

He is just ranking them.
I hoped the Rams would have been able to take him (or Chance Warmack) at #16 in the draft, but I doubt it now. Jones is a rising prospect with a bright future ahead of him in the pros, and hopefully Dysert will get a chance too.
Kiper has Fisher today at #11, down one. ESPN's Scouts, Inc. has Fisher at #20. Todd McShay has him at #16, his #4 OT.

The only other MAC player in the top 100 is KSU's Brian Winters who is the #4 OG. Dysert has dropped to the #9 QB.
CMU's offensive line as a whole was impressive.

Just out of curiousity, who does McShay have him behind? I can see Joeckel, but with Lewan not coming out, I'm having a hard time figuring out who he could possibly have ahead of him other than Joeckel? Almost every single analyst/pundit has him as the #2 OT, and number 3 and 4 are WAY behind him.

Taylor Lewan, Mich #9, and Jake Matthews, #15, Tx A&M.
Fisher at 20? da Bears NEED him fits like a glove.

Then that's an old list. Lewan and Matthews both elected to stay in school another year.

Stock Up

Eric Fisher/T/Central Michigan: Fisher was quite possibly the most impressive player on the North squad during Tuesday's practice. He was phenomenal in pass protection, stopping just about everyone in drills and during the scrimmage period. Fisher's blocking fundamentals are outstanding and his footwork and ability to slide off the edge is eye catching. He was beaten by a few power moves and Fisher must improve his playing strength, but the senior left tackle is now being mentioned as a possible top 15 pick.

Brian Winters/OG/Kent State: The collegiate left tackle primarily lined up at guard on Tuesday and was a dominant force. He showed terrific blocking power on the line of scrimmage and terrific movement skills when asked to block in motion. It's that latter skill, blocking in motion, which really impressed, and surprised, scouts on hand.
