This year's team joins last year's and the 1996-97 Blazer squad. No Blazer team has ever started conference play 0-4.

Could we be 2002 bad? I hope that we will turn it around. Like last season, the opening schedule has been tough.
The way we're playing right now, I wouldn't be shocked if we didn't win again all year.*

*Just joking.**
**mostly.

We'll win a few more but I think Troy will be our only road win of the season.
(Updated)

KenPom has the next game 80 - 75, in favor of UAB.

He also has UAB going 6-10 in conference play, and ECU going 7-9.

But, KenPom only has UAB favored in four more games, and one of those is this coming Wednesday night.
According to KenPom the top four teams in C-USA this season are -

Memphis 47
USM 53
UTEP 99
UCF 110

UAB's rating comes in at 184 today. Only ECU (185), Marshall (190), Houston (196), and Rice (329) are ranked lower.

UAB's first three games were against three of the top four teams in the conference. We don't have the horses this year to survive the opening schedule that was dealt to us.
Uh. We just came off a week off. We just played USM. We play ECU on Wednesday. You're a week late with your post.
just got prescribed xanax from my doctor 2 days ago, sorry about that haha

MB, what part of past tense do you not understand?

SMU, Tulane and Tulsa are already gone according to KenPom?

My post wasn't referring to your post. It was referring to Brandon, who in a drug induced state, was talking about having a week off before we played USM. He was a week late.

Heck, I fear an 0-9 conference start

We are only favored in two of the first nine conference games, this Wednesday night against ECU and on Feb. 9th against Marshall.

UAB is 0-3, but wasn't favored in any of those games.

Three other games are real close, where UAB is the dog by five points or less - Houston, UTEP, and Tulsa. Unfortunately, Houston and Tulsa are on the road, and UAB only has one road win so far this season (Troy). UTEP is at The Bart, but UTEP is the best of those three teams.

By the way, Troy is 7-12, 2-6. They are not favored in any remaining games.
We've had past issues with ECU. Wasn't Marshall missing a couple of guys? They'll probably be back by the time we play 'em 03-razz
