After this season is completed...

Expect to be let go:

BGSU - Louis Orr
Ball St - Billy Taylor

Seat is getting pretty warm:

Mark Montgomery - NIU
Rob Murphy - EMU

Holding pattern:

WMU - Steve Hawkins
Kent St - Rob Senderoff
Ohio - Jim Christian
Toledo - Tod Kowalczyk
Buffalo - Reggie Witherspoon

Lots of hope:

CMU - Keno Davis
Miami - John Cooper

Lifetime gig:

Akron - Keith Dambrot
Murphy's seat would only be warm if we tank in MAC play (like 5-11). We're playing without a key piece of the rotation (Ray Lee), and he has a JUCO all American and a solid PG transfer coming next season. If we suck again next year, THEN I'll agree with you. But I think I'd swap Murphy with Witherspoon right now. Buffalo looks awful, outside of McCrea.

Dambrot has the lifetime gig as long as he doesnt start dropping N bomb again like he did at CMU back in the day. That got him run out of Mt Pee instantly.

I actually wonder how much longer he might be at Akron before a bigger gig comes calling.

Witherspoon has done the following

21-12 (11-5) 2008/09 good for 1st in MAC and CBI tourney
18-12 (9-7) 2009/10 3rd in MAC
20-13 (8-8) 2010/11 5th in MAC CIT tourney
19-9 (12-4) 2011/12 2nd in MAC CIT tourney

At 5-12 so far this year, he looks rough. But I find it hard to believe that the admin there would fire him after 4 straight winning seasons and 3 post season births. Throw in the fact that this is his 14th season there...I'm not sure they part with him so soon. The fans might be calling for change because they haven't seen the Big Dance yet...but in reality he's done pretty well overall.

I listed Murphy as "warm" because of the following:

1. It doesn't seem like EMU has progressed from last year. They aren't notably better.
2. 2013-14 might be the year of expectations for EMU...hence if Murphy doesn't do well this season, the pressure is on for next year.
3. Murphy's flirtation with NBA makes people wonder how much longer he will stick around.

I could be wrong...just my viewpoint of everyone's program.
Dambrot isn't going anywhere. He recently got a 10 year extension...and passed up the Duquesne job which would have been about a 200k bump in pay.

I think he is very happy with his situation, is at home in Akron, and realizes how difficult the road back can be when you screw up (cmu). I don't think he is interested in going to a different program and risking a flop and then having to start all over again. If he was younger, yeah, I'd think he would bolt.
Again, I wonder if Tisdale rethinks his BGSU commitment if Orr gets let go....
