It seems UAB might be getting an SEC transfer receiver with local (some old, some new) and UAB ties for next FB season. Don't know how official it is, but it shouldn't be difficult to identify him...

Well that rumor has been out there for a while.
I think its actually been bantered about on this board...
Maudrecas would be a good player for us. I know he had issues at Arkansas but I think that was out of character for him and a component of hanging out with the wrong people. I knew him from Hoover and was on the track team with him. He was a good guy and fun to be around. Unbelievable speed.

Someone correct me if I am wrong (as if I have to say that lol) he already sat out a year he may be immediately eligible.
I can't remember when the incident occurred & I am too lazy to look it up, but he may be eligible to play if the academic side of things has been kept up.
