Nolan said the other day. You can't win with just defense. Somebody has to put the ball in the hole. Our women's team has some athleticism, but few shooters. One strategy Coach Foley might need to start using is full court presses. We do have some kids who can put pressure on the ball, and possibly force turnovers for easy baskets. Taylor Ford, Taylor Gault, and Cobbins are capable of doing that. Maybe playing in the half court game is not our strength and we need to force the action. Our inside presence is not good enough right now to stop anyone who drives to the basket, so we should try and keep the ball out of the paint. Our young players are showing some promise, but they're not all doing it at the same time. Different one each game. First Kierra Clark, then Carolee Dillard, then Shanity James. They all need to play full out every game. That's when they'll begin to win.
