Years ago, when AM 980 was actually Super Talk, they had a sports talk show hosted by Scott Robertson, who, the last I looked, is now the Editor of the Tri-Cities Business Times.
Anyway, it was the era of caller driven radio and Robertson struggled to get calls. But the one time he did get audience participation was when he talked ETSU.
Hmmmmmmm.
That was really how I got an interest in this stuff. I knew there was an audience for it, that ETSU was essentially the only big league team the area had (I'm equating D-I with big league), and it was untapped.
Folks, soar, don't settle. I love the talk about a new conference, but let's think of ETSU on a straight upward climb and not just settling for where they were, okay?
Seriously, this is about this board being busy and about ETSU, not about your summer stock. We know you're proud of it and how it landed you a job reserved typically for undocumented immigrants and Kenyans who barely speak a word of english.

I've noticed there have been several new members come on the board in the last 12 hours. That's good to see.
With this announcement I also hope we start to get some of our old fans back that left during this Mullins mess. Particularly "The Bartender".

Here we do have the biggest story to hit ETSU in years, the most positive story, and all you want to do is talk about me.

I am not disputing that. I have no doubts that Buccaneer nation will rise from the ashes and fully support this new administration. I merely asked why ALL of these threads have to turn into you and Pitt taking shots at eachother on completely unrelated issues.

I'm basking in it, dug ETSU stuff out that I haven't worn in awhile to wear to work today. I'm with you, I don't want to see threads hijacked or turned into someone else's personal platform over their butthurt.

It's like I said in the other thread, October of 2015, we'll all be on here fighting over a game. The old guys wondering why we don't run the wishbone, younger guys mad that they didn't throw it enough, former players wanting us all to shutup because we didn't play, they did and somewhere in the middle of all this, we can all stop and be happy.
Lol it is busy I even see where Mike White is lurking to see what is going on, you would think he would be getting ready for the press conference.
