UTEP will have to rebound their defensive boards. I think the match up between Julyan Washburn and Kane will be a great one to watch. We can match Marshall's big men inside. The X factors are McKenzie Moore and Konnor Tucker. Moore reminds me of Julyan Stone and I am interested to see how teams try to match up with his physical play. I think UTEP wins by 8 tonight.
It gives me some confidence knowing they haven't won a game on the road this year. Then again, neither had we before Tulane.
I'm really wondering how this one can play out. There are so many factors in this game, that it's hard for me to guess who is favored. I feel like I did before the Colorado State game.

- Travel Distance
- Will UTEP score the way it can at home
- WIll Marshall's solid rebounding/big men establish themselves
- How hot will Tucker be, and will he get the open looks
- Will the beer be cold.....
etc
etc
I wonder how the crowd will be tonight. UTEP by 9
I am looking forward to tonight. I got tickets to the pre game dinner with the coaches. Go Miners!

There were quite a bit of fans buying tickets when I went to the Miner Store this afternoon. I think we'll have a really good showing. I'm predicting at *least* 10,000. 02-13-banana

I thought Kane was out for the year? Was he just out for a limited time?

Broken right hand, supposed to be out 4-6 weeks, just came back 2 games ago(3 weeks).
Hopefully we can get at least 10,000. Not sure how many fans will rather stay home and watch the 49ers and Packers game tonight. But Im pulling for at least the 10,000.
Go Miners!
Lines were long and consistant all day at the ticket center. I expect at least 10k, but I am hoping for over 11k.
At the pre game dinner, Bob Stull said realignment is volatile and that they are on the phones everyday. He is not worried as he is convinced most will expand to 16 in the next two years.

That's not good.
I am not optimistic.

I want to be, but it's tough.
UTEP has called 2 timeouts in the first minute of play.
14-14 11:50 to go in 1st
24-22 Miners at the under 4.
Wish the game was on TV. Listening on iphone
31-24 Miners at half. Sloppy first half.
