Mitchell out of the game when he did. Yes, he had three fouls, but it was the second half, not the first, and it was a close game with a chance to win. Worse that could happen would be that he would foul out. But let the refs take him out of the game, not the coach. Plus, I thought the refs did the best job of any crew this year. They let the kids play, and didn't call a foul every time someone touched another player. True, there were some fouls that they didn't call, on both teams, that have been called in the past. Maybe they're Big 10 refs.
In any event, my congratulations to them on an outstanding game. You hardly knew they were there, and that's the mark of good officiating IMO. I'd love to have them every game. I can assure you the game Saturday will be called completely different if we get our usual Saturday officials.

If I'm the North Texas coach, I'm not buying a home in Denton. He may not be around long enough to get it furnished. I noticed he had Rob Evans as one of his assistants. Perhaps he needs to utilize Rob's experience a little more.
