Way to go Corey!
Good size for a safety.

Welcome to the Southside, young man! You're going to look great in green.
He's not from Birmingham, Alabama.

Just saying.
Big safety !
He apparently had offers from Indiana and Ball St.
I asked for a couple of hoss defensive tackles for Christmas but so far socks, underwear, couple of new ties. Still a few packages to open but I'm starting to wonder.

Can't hurt to have visitors for the Memphis game...

Still a freshman though. We need the experienced guys we have to Step the FU and play.

We have lots of experience on the DL and we don't need to just disregard it. Size is one thing but so is experience.

The schemes need to match the personnel we have. You can't scheme for the guys we "might" get or the guys we "wish" we had.

Johnson and Williams really need to get on the same page and start to earn their money this year. They will have had 2 offseasons with this group of veterans.

Let's Go dammit.

We def needs some more bodies for the DL in this class bc one of the Albany twins is moving to the OL. I can't remember 100% but I'm pretty sure Roscoe is the one changing positions, but that's one less body.

Jewel Christian is gone isnt he? Don't recall his year or if perhaps he was eligible for a medical redshirt/

Well, we are changing our scheme based on our players and our conference. It's been widely discussed how we're going to a 3-4 defense instead of a 4-3. So, we'll need one less DL on the field and one more LB/DB.

Also, we had a lot of young DLs playing this year. It stands to reason that those guys will improve. We also have a commitment from a 3 star DE from Vestavia and we're still recruiting some other guys.

Don't worry, yet.

I'm not worried.

What I am is calling out the Seniors and Juniors we have on the DL.
I want those guys to go balls out from right FN now until the last play of the bowl game we WILL FN be in next year.

You know who you are. If you are reading this, GET UR ASS IN GEAR.
Whoever we sign 28 days from today will not be "chickens we can count" until they actually suit up in August. A good interim count will be who is showing up for spring practice (I am guessing in March) as members on a depth chart looking toward summer.

Now that the spring semester has begun, are there any folks rumored to be leaving who are still in school and might change their minds by March? Who has actually left for another school?
We are recruiting a DE from Selma. Had 12 sacks. We have not offered him yet. Has WKU and iAA offers MTSU is also recruiting him.
