I'm only a couple minutes into this (it's a 40 minute rant), but it's starting out good. He's already ripping on Kirky boy...

Quote:I have a lot of respect for Kirk Herbstreit, but over the last couple months the stuff that's coming out of his mouth is so preposterous, because he played and I didn't I guess he's got to have more credibility, just the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

Quote:The system is already so convoluted to make sure that the teams with the money and the power protect their turf that even when fair and square one of them gets beat they can't accept it.

The Q. to me is - would this ESPN radio guy have made this great rant IF his hometown team HADN'T been in a bowl game?

While I loved it and he was on target, this was somewhat self-serving. But it does shine a light on how the so called 'expert commentators' at ESPN can never say they are or were wrong. They sputter, but can't find it to spit the words out.

Anyways, the fans see it for what it is.

Does it matter? Someone with a voice finally took a stand against E$PN and made some of the same exact arguments that many of us have, here.
Good to see that somebody on the radio realizes the idiocy that's on national radio/TV regarding college football.
PREACH.
