A National Championship out of three three NC appearances, a UD alumnus, and by all accounts, a clean program.
2012 and 2013 were down years by UD standards, but those teams were beset with injuries.
At the peak of recruiting season, and getting closer to signing day; and with three years left on a 300k/yr contract, one has to wonder what else is behind this.
New AD making a statement?
Patriot League move imminent?
FBS aspirations?
Through 2018?? I thought there were just 3 years left.
A fiscally conservative public@ 300k/yr....... Now I am SURE something is going on that we have NO idea about.

Possible that Delaware to CUSA? I can be hopeful.

I'd really like to see Delaware in CUSA as well. They are more attractive than any Sun Belt addition, other than Arkansas State IMO. They have a lot of potential and the school has plenty of money. It would be a good academic addition to the league.
