You guys had a dream season. It gives me hope for my Cajuns and all the rest of the mid major programs. Say a little prayer for the Cajuns to get into CUSA. I don't think the Belt will be around much longer.

Thanks! I don't know much about the Sun Belt's prospects, but it seems like they'll be around for awhile. They might not want to, but they can always add a couple more FCS schools if they need to, to keep going - assuming CUSA grabs more Sunbelt schools. But CUSA seems just as happy to grab FCS schools with big markets as they are to grab Sunbelt teams.

The Sun Belt is the MAC of the south, and that's a good thing in theory, but unfortunately you guys have been targeted because your geography fits in with the C-USA. Still, I see App. State and GA Southern going there soon, and I hope to see you guys prosper, as long as it doesn't interfere with the MAC of course.

Depends on how the dissolution of the nBE goes (or doesn't). If the MWC poaches on C-USA, you could end up with the Belt and the remnants of C-USA merging.

Thanks for the kind words; when you're a non AQ and you don't win the BCS game you were invited to, oftentimes most of the comments you read after the game are from haters. Glad that hasn't happened to Huskie fans.

There are several quality FCS programs that should be candidates for the Belt like Sam Houston State. This sounds more than a little out of the box but what about North Dakota State for football only. They have their other sports in the Summit and have great facilities including a 19K indoor football stadium. Fargo is a decent sized market and they have a good sized alumni base in Minneapolis.
Cajuns had a solid season, 9 wins including a bowl win.
