That game yesterday afternoon was very indicative of where Marshall's basketball program is right now. The wheels have fallen off this season, and the team seems to have abandoned...well...everything. Faith in their coach, belief in themselves...all gone. There is talent on this team to be better than this, but Herrion seems to have lost them.
Many of us expected a particularly rough game yesterday, as Ohio is always strong. I predicted a 22 point loss to a friend early yesterday. I certainly didn't see the game playing out quite this lopsided! Certainly a good old fashioned woodshed-style beating.
So, congrats to the Bobcats on putting up the victory with some emphasis. I have a huge amount of respect for OU, and hope you guys really turn it up throughout conference play. Best of luck the rest of the way.
Hopefully, the Herd will give you a better game next year.
