I couldn't believe that ****! I watched the last minute of regulation, including that buzzer-beater at the end that those pathetic officials chose to wave off and send the game into OT, which Colorado would go on to lose, of course. IMO, one of the worst call reversals I've ever seen in a basketball game. For those of you that have yet to see the shot taken by the CU player, please do so, and share your observations here.

What a sham! What an absolute sham!
he forgot to call glass
That was very tough to call. A bang-bang play. Had Kinnard's shot vs Mempiss in 2008 been waves off there really would have been some Golden Gallons™ hurled. Which reminds me, I've only got a week to start saving up...
Colorado led by 16 in the second half and by 7 or 8 with 2 minutes to go. They blew the game and it should not have come down to a last second shot. I have no sympathy for them and admire Arizonas comeback.

03-lmfao Let me know if you're sitting in the F&F Zone, so I can plan accordingly! You know, you're not the first person I've heard use that term, "Golden Gallons" in reference to the Memphis game...Did someone actually do that, for real?

Okay. But do you think the young man from CU got the shot off in time based on the replay?
I just reviewed the video on YouTube, and I had to go back and forth stopping as he released the ball. My opinion......the shot left his hands at 00.1. It was GOOD!
They (Zebras) were taking way too long with that replay. Then one would call the other two over at least 3 separate times. I promise, it's the "Immaculate Reception" all over again. Had they called that shot good (as they should have), they were afraid that their asses would be BBQ'd in Molasses in the parking lot of wherever the hell it was they were playing. I think it was fear that caused them to see that replay in an entirely different light. I don't care of CU blew a 100 point lead, they got that last shot off and it was good, and they got screwed. If that guy had been wearing a Duke jersey, you know how that call would have gone. ;-)

Thank you, Kev! It was close, damn close, granted, but that ball was out of his hands. They took that game away from Colorado. I hope to God that Conference USA officials aren't that gutless.
I actually agree with MB (for once). It should never have come down to that shot. Live by the replay die by the replay.

John Calipari said it happened, and as severy memphis fans posted on this board that night and in the following days, "Cal never lies."

Also according to the Blessed One of Memphis, Shawn Taggert had his skull shattered by a flying whiskey bottle that then flew across the court and killed FedEx CEO Fred Smith.

Many UAB students then rushed onto the court to shout the n-word at the poor memphis players, while others hurled bricks, chunks of rebar, a small beer keg and, of course, many many Golden Gallons™. One guy attacked Pierre Hamburglar-Niles' fist with his face, and some chick gave Joey Dorsey the finger, which hurt his feelings very deeply.

Plus there were the 22 memphis fans arrested by the UAB campus police and chained in the sub-Bartow dungeon, where they suffer to this day as they are not allowed to listen to memphis post-game radio shows. We do plan to transfer them to Big East custody on July 1st.

It all happened just as I have written it here. Because Cal Never Lies.

Cal never lies.

The Memphis fans were all over that one.
I can confirm that there was a half-pint whiskey bottle on the court in front of the scorers table. what was in it, however, remains unknown...

Live by the Cal, die by the Cal...
I go there and still think the CU player got it off with .01 left, but as MB said CU let UofA come back in the game, the situation should've never happened
To make this thread Blazer related, remember, it wasn't that long ago when UAB had a WTF win vs. Arizona. Remember that Pre season NIT game when the Arizona player inexplicably fouled Paul Delaney when they were ahead with about 2 seconds to go. Delaney goes to the line and wins the game.
I remember 'zona fans trying to argue that it was ticky tack, despite the guy damn near pulling PD3's shorts off.
Yeah he definitely meant to foul. I think he thought they were down by one instead of up by one.
