The new rewards program has launched. It's connected to social media via Facebook, Twitter, and FourSquare. You get various points for doing certain things with your social media account mentioning UAB events. You can then redeem the points for prizes.
This looks cool. Anyone have a promo code before I sign up so I get extra points?

Click on my profile. Then click on the social media you are connected with, it will prompt you with the message of the day, then give you an option to post it to you account with comments.
This is a really cool program and has the potential to be one of the best marketing programs UAB has ever done. Social media is a driving force behind good business models today.

Very cool. I was getting concerned about not having any kind of rewards program. The last one disappeared.
I loved the concept of an attendance-based rewards program, and I guess this has a component of that in it. I've never used this four square thinger before, and I don't have a smart phone nor do I plan to get one. So I may have some technical difficulties, but the rest of the world should be able to respond to this.

Well, it's an outside vendor that does it. Lots of schools use them including Arizona, Baylor, and Oregon.

If you get points for attendance, there should be a element where students get bonus points for attending a UAB event when school is not in session.
& bonus points for wearing UAB stuff instead of other school's stuff.
The picture at the top of the website is getting a little dated. Part of my head is cut off and I graduated 5 years ago in May.
