Saw the news on ESPN insider.

"Eastern Michigans reportedly found its next OC." Stan Parish

He's a former Head coach in the MAC. Ball State
Dear Friends,
Sounds like Stan Parrish to me. That has been the speculation up to now. Former MAC head coach, just itching for the chance to lead Eastern to victories.
I believe there's a team meeting this Sunday evening. I'm guessing the new OC will be introduced to the team then, with the public announcement later Sunday or Monday.
Stan Parish is the official OC according to EMU Football Facebook page

That is NOT what we said on the "Unofficial" EMU Football Fb page. We merely stated ESPN's claim and openly speculated that it might be Parrish. We also mentioned we hoped to have confirmation by Sunday.
Erik Campbell is leaving Iowa. Possible candidate?
In the last 48 hours ESPN has insinuated, though not directly named Stan Parish. They have also directly mentioned Campbell. Hopefully we will know for sure as soon as possible. This is not the type of open question EMU needs hanging leading up to signing day.
Yeah ESPN is just dropping hints. They don't know either they're just trying to figure this out.
This rumor has us getting the OC from Iowa (Campbell).. Please read under the Iowa portion of the posting.

But this document states he is not leaving but staying at Iowa. I will be glad when this is over. The stress of it all..

I agree that this cannot be going well with recruiting offensive kids.

Would Campbell be the OC or a position coach?

Did Campbell wear out his welcome in Iowa City?

Was he on thin ice?

All ESPN needs to do is ask their very own Kirk Herbstreit. He knows everything.
Whether it's Campbell or Parrish, the offense won't change much until English is gone.

Any chance both Parrish and Campbell join? Campbell could be OC, Parrish could resume his volunteer role as QB Coach here instead of at Siena.

or

Campbell could join as OC/WR coach, Downing could move over to coach QB's.

Still need a LB coach too.

That'd be nice

Wouldn't that be a huge $$$ investment in coaching?

It would be a great idea but I dont see it.. I would love to be wrong on this...

The OC, Parrish (?), would get Karcher's contract + some additional bucks.

Campbell would replace who and would we have to pony up another 75K?????

shouldn't we know by now (8:15 p.m. Sunday)?

When was the meeting?
It is Parish. Take to the bank.

Now we can return to our bball debate. 05-stirthepot
I find the article below interesting but it does NOT negate that Parish is the new OC.

I wonder where Erik Campbell will end up. He needs a job. Could he come to EMU as a position coach?
