North Texas had two guards like them. Josh White and one other one whose name I can't recall. They were dynamic, though not very tall. I could see Josh and John being that sort of duo for four years. I don't like playing Isler at the two. That's not his position. He's a three or in a pinch, a four. Taggart might be better at the two then Isler, but he's really a three also. Not quite quick enough for the two.

If I'm looking to the future, as well as now, I'd go ahead and play Josh and John together in the starting lineup. That way, we'll keep them both happy and they'll compliment each other instead of competing for time. I'd probably back both up with Osse, who can do an adequate job at both. And he could even possibly play some at the three with the two of them. Dillard could back up the two position when needed.

The only position that's a problem is the five. We need scoring from that position. Will is doing the best job scoring and rebounding for us, plus leading the team in steals. His outside shooting is not required this year. He's more valuable inside, so give him the five spot with James White at the four. Quit screwing around with the starting lineup and put Josh and John in there and let them play. I don't like shuffling starting lineups around all the time. And I don't like Javes as a starter. He's still just too raw. As I've said, he can't block enough shots to make up for his lack of scoring, turnovers and fouls. But I doubt that anyone will read this and make any changes.04-cheers

Doesn't have to be a lot, but some.
