I would only call the NKU game an upset. in both preseason polls(coaches and media) Stetson was picked ahead of Kennesaw and Jacksonville was picked ahead of Lipscomb. KSU is 1-12, they might possibly be worse then ETSU and Jacksonville was at home.

JU vs Lipscomb was not as close as the score would indicate. Hurt is the real deal. A much, much better BB player than I would have thought. A massive body, good hands, showed some passing skills, moves well, a soft touch, and he hit a very high % from the line. NKU may not be much fun for anyone to play. JU played pretty well the other night and just scraped by them.
