I hope you guys stick with us. I want that road trip. Having Bball in the Big West pretty much guarantees you a Tournament invite every year and I'm sure you could talk the New Big East teams like Memphis, SMU, Houston and Cincinnati into scheduling OOC games (3 hour plane ride). And if we can hang onto UC and UConn, the football is a wash. I'd like to pick up Fresno and BYU (dream big, I say) as well. Think about it!
+1 for me, I've enjoyed having the SDSU fans around
I'd rather it too. We'll end up like the Donners if we stay in the god forsaken mountains

Me too! Classy bunch of Posters. Plus they just don't fit in the MWC...They are an Urban School like the rest of us.
I am with you SMUPony.

with a lousy RPI conference BB schedule resulting in a low seed in the NCAA. How des the Big West do for seeding anyway?

When was the last time the BW had a perennial Top 25 team in it to be seeded?

SDSU will have to utilize the Memphis formula of tough OOC scheduling with a game or two OOC in Feb and similar to what UNLV use to do in the big west. Memphis use to play Gonzaga in Feb and now play Xavier in Feb. Maybe SDSU in the future :-)

A scheduling agreement with BE top level hoops teams and SDSU during the non conference portion would be helpful to both, yes?
