And brought their A team to it as well. The same crew in the Sugar Bowl was in DeKalb for the Toledo show down.

But this is a MAC effort, everyone needs to step up and keep the conference competitive as it was this season. If the MAC is not competitive as a whole, no ones SOS will be strong enough to overtake the NBE or MWC for another BCS game.

We weren't the lowest rated BCS game this season and pulled a respectable share in Chicago by being the second highest rated BCS game ever in that market on ESPN. Like it or not they will play up a team like NIU for that very reason in the future if they have the right resume. That is how they treated Utah, TCU, and now Boise. First they were looked down on and then as the ratings showed people actually had some interest in their story lines they started backing those teams. It will never be as much as the Big Conferences and we will always be inferior but there are ways to carve out a meaningful place at the table if we can produce on the field. Our midweek MAction tag is another example. As soon as the viewers say they like it, ESPN jumps on the wagon.

another point is the NIU economic impact had to be larger then FSU. FSU is only 450 miles form miami so I would think a lot of their fans drove down stayed at a cheap motel and left the next day. I know I left a lot of green in Miami
Appreciate all the support guys.
