Best Dunk I've Seen in the Convocation Center in a while.

And it isn't a Red Wolves player but a HS Sophomore . . .

Best dunk for me was still when the WKU 7 footer that would never graduate shattered the backboard.

Just looked it up. Insane.
Sophmore in high school? Impressive 04-jawdrop Brady needs to start recruiting that kid now. Heck, Gillispie was offering letters of intent to kids still in their play pin when he was in Lexington. 03-lmfao

We've got a couple underclassmen in High School in this area that will eventually play D1 ball. There's a freshman at a nearby high school that just recently produced a 5 star talent that could very easily be 5 stars by the time he is a senior.
Did he jump on a trampoline? Holy crap!

I briefly looked and couldn't find a Nettleton roster. I'm guessing he is 6-4. I'm also guessing he has 42" vertical(or a jet pack)!
He's 6-3

the craziest thing was that he looked like half way up he hit another gear and went even faster. which as far as i know unless he is an ancient chinese monk that can step on the air should have been impossible.

Yeah - I was trying to see if he stepped on that lil white kid's shoulder for the second stage of his launch.

winston.....did i mention that this dunk was much more impressive than the time the middle player dunked the ball into the side of the rim against north texas on new years eve?

not to be outdone he airballed a free throw shortly after that.

i felt so bad for him.

imho.

No I don't believe you did. I guess it was his good fortune that not many people actually saw it?

great point.

but it was classic.

it was a breakaway. he had all day to get his steps.....he measured them.....cocked the ball back one handed like michael jordan did back in the day......then hammered the side of the rim with the ball like some junior high white kids trying to dunk on a 9 foot goal in the driveway.

the momentum of his gangsta-brick dunk landed him flat on his culo.

i know i'll never forget it.

then....god bless him......he shot an airball free throw.

it's a good thing that chris jones was injured and middle got to take on a depleted mean grean and they had the lead. if it had been a close game and he pulled off the perfecta of missed dunk/air ball freebie kermit woulda had an aneurysm <sp>. the only thing missing from the trifecta woulda been shooting a shot into the wrong goal.

imho.

that's quite a sequence of fail. maybe one of the middle guys could volunteer to make an animated gif to commemorate it . . . nevermind, the'll be busy watching their boys beat stAte's ass tonight.

That was an awesome story. Shame I never got to see it. I must commence a YouTube search.
