Glad to see. When the BE wasn't part of the power conference and there was not auto tie-in to a major bowl, that's what did it for me. The TV money I didn't care about. I didn't care about the teams in the conference either but to be part of an auto-bid power conference I could be ok with that. Now that is gone no reason to go to the BE.
Good move and allows Boise to still compete for that "Gof5" spot in the BCS. Good luck.
I think for Boise St, this was the smart move, there wasn't going to be much of a money difference between the two, now they save on travel subsidies to the Big West.
For the MWC, this was a win.
For the BE, this is a major blow.
