Well, the OVC begins for us with you guys. I wish I could make the game, but work keeps me in Nashville. I'll be watching on the computer though.
What are your strengths and weaknesses to watch for?
Strength is defense and guard play. Weakness is inside strength and rebounding.

That sounds a lot like us. We're small inside as we lost two of our big guys to graduation. We sometimes can out rebound some teams, but we can still struggle at times. Our starting center has been scoring of late, but a lot of the points are from outside the arc.

The Gamecocks are statistically one of the best teams in the country at defending shots outside the arc. Some of that could be our opposition, but we held UNLV and Oregon < .260 and Nebraska to .000.

Thanks. Byrd is a good coach. He gets the most out of his players by demanding fundamentals.
You guys are solid and I like your inside play. We were pushed by you guys which is good. I was hoping for better conference play than we got in the ASun. That will make us a better team.
