**WAC ineligible to win as there's a minimum of 3 games to win and the WAC doesn't have any other bowl teams playing**
After a disappointing regular season the bowl season is a good one for CUSA.
Only game left is Tulsa vs Iowa State. I think we have a real shot at winning this thing. Big concerns would be the WAC and the SEC

The WAC is done playing so I am not sure how that will work. Same thing for the Independents as they only play 3 games (Notre Dame and Navy left).

EDIT---I googled it and found out than in order to win the Bowl Challenge that a conference has to play a minimum of 3 bowl games so the WAC is eliminated from winning
Excuse me for being ignorant, but do the conferences with the best bowl record receive some reward (monetary or otherwise).
Or is this just bragging rights?
You forgot Southwest Conference 11-0 over last 2 years
I am sorry to my fellow CUSA fans that ECU forgot to show up for its bowl game until halfway through the 2nd quarter....Very sad performance.

From what I can tell it is for bragging rights. I had forgotten that C-USA tied for 1st last year. Below is a link with more info

Another one of your E$PN rah rah ideas for the Walmart $EC fans to brag about.
Therefore the WAC is DQ. CUSA has the lead. The Big 10 is 2-0

New Big 10 is 0-2
The Big 12 is 2-0, but only 2 games.
There

SEC has never won it. It's actually been since 2008 that an AQ conference won it.
The conference record so far is making our loss to ULL all the more hard to take for us. ECU, one of the best records in the conference chokes off a bowl loss yet everyone else wins.
I do believe there is an actual trophy.
Southwest Conference now 12-0 in two years
It's a pretty stupid challenge. Only ESPN could have come up with something so worthless.

Hate to put salt in the wound but we only played one of the bowl eligible teams from C-USA and lost (UCF). Tulsa, SMU, and Rice likely would have beaten us if we played them. If you trade those games for the 3 West wins (Tulane, UTEP, and Houston) we would have been 5-7 and out of the bowls instead of 8-4. IMO we were lucky to have the conference schedule we did to get us bowl eligible. Kind of got the result I expected in our bowl game though it sucked that we played well after a terrible start.
