How funny is it that they brought up Huggins players having off court issues while doing a UConn game. Give me a break. Two players get caught stealing laptops and one, amazingly the starting pg, gets reinstated this year. What a joke.
And watching Calhoun whine on the sidelines the whole game, he almost makes Huggins look like a choir boy.
To their credit, they were amazed that Calhoun went so far as to get a technical when they were up by 12.
Coach K of Duke was shown freaking out on cam a couple of weeks ago. That surprised alot of fans that thought Mike K was always so calm and didnt cuss or anything. They have no idea how he really is behind closed doors. His locker room tirades are a legend in the ACC.
I love listening to Raftery, and having he and Bilas together was a very nice treat. They both are among the best and most fair observers in all of college basketball -- a fact made obvious by how much they appreciated the heart shown by the UC guys tonight.
Sure sounded though like through their briefings they had gotten the impression that AK wouldn't be here next year. I absolutely am blown away by the job AK is doing, but they also made some good points in their discussion about getting the right guy for the long-term and not making a decision based on emotions right now.
Whomever the next coach is here will be facing a divided audience, no matter his background. I just hope two years from now, he'll have done enough to convince us it was the right hire. His detractors are not likely to run away and hide without comment.

I've talked to people and apparently Coach K cusses at officials on that sideline as much as Huggins does, legit. Considering Connecticut's off-court problems, mentioning our is stupid. "Cincinnati has had a million off court problems! What a pass by Marcus Williams!" You know, the guy who stole thousands of dollars in computer laptop equipment.
