Merry Christmas to everyone! Or Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, or whatever you want. For the sake of our fun little fantasies, what are three things you wish Santa could've brought to your MAC school this year?

1. Indoor practice/suite facility - Put it just north of Yager
2. Replace Millett - Don't know where it should go, the only open space Miami really has now is just north and south of our music hall, or in Bishop Woods
3. Coaching endowment - Whoever is the next big basketball/football coach, give us money for a long-term raise

Just need to renovate Millett, not sure we need to replace it.

The biggest problem I have with it is location - you know that unless you live on North Quad or around Talawanda, Millett (and Yager for that matter) is at least a twenty minute walk or a trip on a bus. The bottom line is that hockey is king at Miami, a nationally competitive team and a great facility in Goggin make that happen. Millett may have history behind it, but it's dark, depressing, and way too big for the basketball program that lives there. A renovation would need to essentially turn it into a basketball version of Goggin - an intimate, state-of-the-art facility, but I don't know if it would be cost effective or not for what we'd get out of it, given its location. Just my two cents.
