Having a nice season so far. Started everygame; averaging 29.1 minutes per game (2nd on team); averaging 9.9 points per game (3rd) on team; only shooting 29.2% behind the 3 point line. Looks like he's found his niche at the D2 level.
Glad he's doing well. He was a nice player for us. Would have loved to had him for all four years. That's a case of someone transferring, not because of lack of playing time, but for family reasons. That's why it's difficult to keep players for a full four or five years. There are so many reasons for them to want to leave. Family reasons, grades, lack of playing time, homesickness. Our program probably isn't much differerent than most. We're dealing with eighteen year olds who are still learning to grow up. Let's just appreciate whoever we have each year and let next year take care of itself. These things have a way of working out.
Good for him.

He had better stats than that for us didn't he. He didn't leave here because he wasn't getting enough minutes. He left for some other reason or reasons.
Say it ain't so.
I understand he had a child back home and wanted to be close to him or her. Can't blame him for that. Family is important.
