Every now and then ETSU plays a team in the top ten and get's it's name on the sports ticker highest visibility setting during national sports broadcasts. It brought me back to the glory years when ETSU was ranked those letters were a regular feature of network programming. It didn't last long....but it made me feel like a big shot. I didn't have to take anything off of anybody because my school was nationally ranked. I was doing the talk'in and could quiet any Tennessee fan. ETSU is miles from that tonight....but at least Mike Smith has the Buc name in lights as his Falcons play Detroit on national TV.
