"I’m excited about the opportunity. It’s unfortunate that football has taken such a dominant personality over the past five or six years. I’ve been fortunate to work at a couple of great basketball schools, and that’s all I care about. I’m just excited that we’re past all of the questions about what league we’re going to be in. Football had its day and now it’s time for us to have ours."

"It’s definitely going to help us. Players are going to come knowing they are going to be the focal point of an athletic program versus being second fiddle to football."

"It’s a place I want to be for a very long time and I’m grateful for Father Shanley and Bob Driscoll as we work things out. It’s the only place I want to be...Providence College is committed for the long haul."

The OG BE was built on great coaches and I believe Providence has theirs right now.

Not sure about my Pirates though.....we'll see once conference play starts.

I'm very happy with Ed Cooley as our coach. While we have had some great coaches in the past, I think Ed can be here for a very very long time.

I hope we can win our next two ooc (Boston College and Brown) and then. We have been picked to finish last in the BE. With the recent addition of Dunn and Johnson I don't see that happening.

Dunn set a freshman record with 13 assists in his first game! The guy hadn't played a real game in nearly a year I believe. If you guys get a healthy Council back no way your last.
OMG! A Seton Hall fan?! Break out the cameras, this happens as often around here as Haley's Comet.
