Lehigh 52
fighting tony mitchells 33
Lehigh is 8-2 with the losses coming to Pitt and Baylor. They are not bad. But this continues to be a very dissappointing season for North Texas.
02-13-banana
North Texas has four wins over Division 1 opponents this year; those teams have a combined record of 7-35. To be fair though, most of their losses are to pretty good schools, of course excluding Alabama-Huntsville.

It'll be interesting to see how they fare in conference play.
Lehigh is also playing without its stud

They'll probably do alright considering a lot of the belts programs are very "meh" right now. Top 20% imo
Even though they were annoying...I miss the daily Tony Mitchell threads...whatever happened there?

it wasn't the fighting Tony Mitchells...
We are horrible. Though I thought we would be good, I hated all the preseason hype.
I can't even begin to describe how happy it makes me that Tony Mitchell and Co. has fallen flat on their face. The preseason hype was unlike anything I've ever seen on this board.

It sucks as far as quality of the conference goes this year, but it's still funny.
Where are all of the 10 North Texas fans? Preseason hype is overrated just like it is in football also..See FIU this season...You cannot base anything off what you did last season to carry over to another season, new season=new team despite anyone you have coming back...

Yep. Our women's team had EVERYONE back this year and we look much worse.

One year does not translate to the next. Luckily, our men have been playing pretty well sans Belmont.
Doesn't CJ McCollum play for Leigh? If so I'm not surprised you lost. Dude is unreal and will probably be drafted higher than Tony Mitchell

Well then that's just sad that they lost that bad. But I can't really talk, we probably would've lost too

That won't be hard to do, Mitchell will plummet on the draft boards with the way he is playing. Granted this could have been said a month ago, but this team is DONE. I wasn't crazy enough to think a NCAA tournament birth was a given, only the idiots who flooded this board with those posts believed that and they're long gone. However, I did expect us to be better than we are. It's tough to watch all that was built over the last few years(even if that is only going from a doormat program to a competitive one) seemingly being demolished slowly by a new coach who's in over his head.
