Well atleast one school in Georgia wins the National championship. (Valdosta)
Two weeks ago they had a chance at 3 national championships, winning 1 is still a good thing.
Congrats to Valdosta St!!!
Georgia Tech also played for a conference title.
Time for GaState and Savannah State to step up! We can run CFB!

They were a last minute drive from being ACC champs.

I stand to recognize the Gentlemen of Georgia and take this opportunity to renominate Valdosta State and Kennesaw State for Sun Belt membership.
Don't see anyone going from D-II to FBS.... That is a huge move, and would require a whole makeover of their program, facilities and all.

Does the number of pictures represent the lack of National Championships Ga State has achieved?
Valdosta state wont be moving anywhere. They have not even expressed interest in moving to FCS I dont think....Also they play in a HS stadium.

Not a high school stadium in Texas. Not much better than North Alabama's.
It would be on the low end of FCS stadiums (See Delaware State, Hale Stadium, or whatever Austin peay plays at).
Kennesaw can't get its' act together for football at the FCS level and they have a place to play.
UT-C, App, Ga. Southern, JMU are all LIGHT YEARS ahead. UT-C had a budget comparable to Troy and ULM, with a small student fee increase and a little TV bump from the Sun Belt, they could move up.
Smaller, but nice stadium, really nice arena but oddly no baseball. They sponsor wrestling and are proud of it.
Also don't forget that Rome, Ga. hosted the NAIA National Championship, and next year Mercer will begin football while Columbus State is examining starting football.
