Has ODU as CAA champs 2012

Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Yeager that a vote be taken in of all the inhabited CAA.
And everyone was on his way to vote for the Colonial, each to his own University.
Broderick and Selig also went up from the Chesapeake Bay, from the city of Norfolk, to the city of Yeager, which is called Richmond,

(Because they were originally of the house and family of William, along with Mary, who had been with child. Long before they were there, the olden days were completed for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn, ODU)

Yeager then told them to get new clothes and sent him to a mangy hotel, because there was no room for them in the inn; which was in fact a converted bank building.

In the same region there were some spiders and bulldogs staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flocks by night. And an angel of the lord Yeager suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the neon shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of Irving Texas, there has been born for you a savior, who is CUSA.

“This will be a sign for you: you will find Broderick and Selig staying in a mangy hotel.” And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the CAA praising Yeager and saying,
“Glory to Tom in the highest, ODU has been voted out!
And on the gridirons and courts, there was peace and relief among the men and women of the CAA, with whom Uncle Tom was well pleased.”

This slightly revised and coarser version as posted on the 'Zone:

Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Yeager that a vote be taken in of all the inhabited CAA.
And everyone was on his way to vote for the Colonial, each from his own University.
Broderick and Selig also went up from the Chesapeake Bay, from the city of Norfolk, to the city of Yeager, which is called Richmond.

(Because they were originally of the house and family of William, along with Mary, who had been with child. Long before they were there, the olden days were completed for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn; ODU)

Yeager then told them (Broderick and Selig) to get waddling (as in waddle the hell out of here) clothes and sent them to a mangy motel, because there was no room for them in the inn; which was in fact a converted bank branch building.

In the same region there were some spiders, Indians, and bulldogs staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their Rolling Rocks by night. And an angel of the Colonial suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the neon shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of Irving Texas, there has been born for you a savior (as in save-your sorry asses from ODU), who is CUSA.

“This will be a sign for you: you will find Broderick and Selig in waddling clothes and staying in a mangy motel.” And suddenly there appeared with the angel the multitude of the CAA, praising Yeager and saying, “Glory to Thomas in the highest; ODU has been voted out!

And on the gridirons, the fields, in the pools, the gyms, and on the courts; there was peace and relief among the men and women of the CAA, with whom Uncle Tom was well pleased.”

Amen
And then Uncle Tom added: "I was also given ten commandments to share with you my people. The first is: Thy presidents shall not vote to allow Monarchs to be champions of thy CAA nation. The second is: Thy coaches shall not vote for Bobby Wilder for coach of the year. The third is: Thy coaches shall not vote for Taylor Heinicke for the All American Team."

He then struggled mightlily to find the right words to continue, before fianlly uttering, "Oh hell, I can't find the other seven, but that's ok, because these are the only three that really matter!"

And the people of CAA cheered, giving praise to Uncle Tom and saying, "We can live with that!"
