Yep... He's the 'glue' to this team as AA was. He just makes everyone better around him

He's play 4 games. Lets relax about him going pro for a few months.

Just enjoy the boost he is giving us.

During the VCU game I made a post about Johnson bringing toughness and attitude to the the team. But it was basically laughed off by others. Turns out I was right after all.

Please don't get carried away folks. AA was one of the best Tigers in history, especially defensively..the ultimate glue guy. But Gerron is good. I just hope he can play this way against big time teams and on the road. We need to beat Lewis Ville to get some national respect.

But for real, I am ecstatic from what I saw tonight. This is what I was expecting in Atlantis.

Hard to believe the word on him before he got here was he had a reputation of being a selfish player. Sure didn't play like it tonight.

I understand tempering our expectations but he is a blast to watch.

Gerron can score. That makes a difference.

Yep. He played with the intensity I want everyone to play with and only took good shots. He didn't force anything.

There's a new sheriff in town.

I hope this makes the players take notice and give JP cred that if you do what he is teaching good things will happen. I want our players to run through walls for our coach. Maybe this is the turning point for this season.

I'll say this. The way that Gerron and Shaq play should have nothing but a positive effect on the rest of the players....INTENSITY.
