Suprised I haven't seen this thread yet! Unless I missed it due to all the coaching/realignment threads.

I haven't seen or heard a peep out of ULL/ULM/ASU on ticket sales. I saw on twitter on Monday that WKU already had 6 bus loads of people going.

Lets start the "I heard from a reliable source that we have sold..." or "They said we are selling at a brisker pace..."

As of sometime yesterday, UL had sold 17,000.
I have no reliable sources (hmmmm...what use am I on a sports message board?).....but...

WKU is now up to 10 bus loads for the special package. Typically, these bus things are just a drop in the bucket when counting total tickets sold. I know many going but none are taking the bus package. So, if approx 500 are already signed up for the bus package, I can only guess the number of other tickets is considerably higher. As I hear more (hard to do with no sources) I'll share. 04-cheers
Louisiana has sold 17,000 as of yesterday.
ASU sold 2,000 on Monday but haven't heard any updates. They sold at least 4 last night when I got home from work :)

On the Cajuns Forum, we're ahead of last years pace and have sold roughly about 14,000 as of a day or 2 ago. Remember, this is sold through the university, we sold like 18,000 through the university last year (our total available allotment) and then had more people go to the bowl game that didn't buy through the university. All in all, should make for a good crowd on TV and a fun atmosphere at the game.

If this number is true 01-ncaabbs

Also, is the NOB going to up the ticket allotment again this year?

I have heard that they have upped our allotment, but can't confirm it. They did move our seating to the opposite side of the Dome for better TV shots. Also the majority of the corporate tickets will be on the ECU side of the Dome unlike last year.

I have heard that the allotment if 19,500. We will reach that mark in a week or so if that is the actual number.

I stand corrected, 17,000 thusfar. I think it's possible that they may give us more and we'll make a certain percentage off of the tickets they give out. They did switch which side of the stadium the SBC tickets are for this season because of the crowd we brought last year because we the crowd was actually behind the ESPN cameras and the premiere corporate sponsor tickets were in our section so that hurt how many tickets we were able to purchase and how good of seats we had. If ECU holds up what they could do, I think we will sell out the lower area of the dome which is a heck of a job for a pre new years day bowl game.

I'm not real confident how many ECU fans will be there. Sadly I won't be 1 of them that's just too far to drive and flights are running at nearly 500 a person.
We have sold a big fat ZERO.... Next year though, watch out, bowl tickets will be flying out of the South Alabama athletic office faster then they can print them. 04-rock04-cheers
Only thing I've heard from a reliable source is that the ULM ticket office has been busy this week.

I do know that four people are going 'cause that's how many tickets I bought on Monday.

Rumor was that at least 1000 were sold (reserved) on Sunday from 1-3 pm. I am sure that didn't include the others that were reserved prior to Sunday and I have heard that the ticket office has been doing steady business.

I have my 2 reserved, hotel booked and need to get the plane ticket. Oh and I can get my fix of Johnny's Pizza!! 04-cheers

I hope yall end up selling every ticket they give yall like the Cajuns did, A couple hundred thousand bucks in the bank can help out an athletic budget a lot.

Didn't ULM have 53,000 for their home game against Arkansas? Surely they can sell as many to a bowl game in Shreveport. 05-stirthepot

Give up one 6 pack a week and you can recoup that in no time.

Come on now I really wouldn't expect a Cajun fan to suggest giving up any beer. 04-cheers
