Guys and gals, we need to turn out in large numbers at the B-ball game tonight. There's a pep rally for the football team at halftime and we can show our support for the basketball team.

Wish I could be there, but I'm working later today and I'm 70 miles away. However, I am showing my support in the huge bucks I am spending to go to the OB!

I'll be there along with the band. I really hope the see the convo rocking...


It'd be nice to have some atmosphere for the MBB team, even if it is because of the football team.

Also, 1 student will win a trip to the orange bowl.

We're trying to. Athletics told us about it on Monday, and it wasn't on our original schedule. It seems a good amount of people are going to come because they get free shirts, but I really hope they all do. I'll be really disappointed if they don't.

NIU fav by 3 tonight. First time in a very long time. Nader back?

..and speaking of the band and one of my favorite topics, it would be great if alum band members going to Orange Bowl could replicate what is done during Homecomings and supplement/compliment the band on the field for at least the fight song...plus I hope the band is or will prepare a very special show - say sometning along lines of Blues Brothers and sweet home chgo...they were pretty respectable at MACC.... and had more energy and pop on the field and in the stands compared to spent Kent Flashes...

If the Marching Huskies are not participating in OB halftime show, how about the parade and /or pep rally?

Can anyone else find the results of a survey of knowledgeable professionals and conducted years ago that ranked NIU's fight song among the top twenty in all of college?

We heard that it was a 7-game suspension. If you count the exhibition against Aurora, tonight is Game 8. Hope to see Nader on the court!

As far as I am aware we have the pep rally tonight (EVERYONE GO!) and then two parades in Florida. If you happen to be there come say hi! I'm the male drum major (three people in the black).

Where are the parades? The official OB activities web site doesn't mention any parade.

Would love to see the Marching Huskies in a parade!

They better have Diesel there tonight...you cant have a pep rally without the best mascot in sports.
