Not only is NIU going to the Orange Bowl, but they're announcing their new Head Coach tonight at 8pm Central.

Makes it even more likely that the reporting of it being Carey is true.

It'll be Carey.

I really, really doubt they would call a press conference to announce an interm guy. Granted, we're going to a BCS bowl, but we didn't with Tuke.

I know he hasn't been a head coach before, but with the buyout from DD and just raising the bar on salary...is there any way we can finally pay about 500,000 for Carey?

Why would we want to? Start lower than give raises for perfomance.

Raise the buyout to 1mil
