There will be a conference call with all members at 3:30 Central time to recommend who should go to the Little Ceasers Pizza Bowl, WKU or MTSU. The Bowl will have the final say.
MTSU if ASU to Liberty
WKU if ASU to GoDaddy

my opinion.
WKU 7-5 (4-4 SBC). Beat Ky. Lost to FAU. 2-4 in last 6 games

MTSU 8-4 (6-2). Beat GTech. Lost McNeese. 4-2 in last 6 games- MTSU 34, WKU 29 in BG

Also, will departing members be able to vote? What about incoming members?

i agree. This is bull. Muts should get it. After the bitter taste of last year when WKU was 7-1 in conference and beat UL and FIU and they went Bowling and we didn't, I will wholeheartedly understand how MT fans would feel should WKU get it. With that said, I'm very confident MT will get it.

MT also avoided ULL and played USA with unbalanced scheduling
No...WKU and MTSU both deserve bowl bids. It is absurd that one of these two teams will be at home.
We've been told its all about geography and fans traveling.

WKU has large alum bases in Louisville and Cincy which is especially important considering game is day after Christmas.

Much like FIU over WKU last year.....

True and MT went 2-1 against it's last 3 conference mates, other than WKU, and WKU went 3-0 against those 3. When you look at it that way, it does make it look a bit different.

This is the best reason one should have to give as to why us or anyone else leaves this conference.

oxymoron if there ever was one.

Agreed. I've told WKU fans repeatedly, we DESERVE a Bowl. We won 7 games and by the rules, we are deserving. Now, will we get one? We'll soon find out.

but if cusa could get 50% of it's members eligible, they'd have similar problems.

Teams which have qualified for bowls as CUSA members have been left out before. Many times. Great point. Tough call for all involved.

I dont dislike MTSU even though they're leaving.

Many times? Please, enlighten me, because as best as I can tell its happened twice since 2002. USF in 2003 and SMU in 2006.

UAb at least twice.

2000 and 2001. That makes four times since 2000 with the last being 2006. If the Sun Belt has a team left out this year that will make what? Three since 2007?
Here's a tweet from the BGDN on which teams don't vote

MrChadBishop

MrChadBishop FI, FA, NT, MT, WKU don't, I'm told RT @abrbgky:
This is the epitome of politics in college football. We're gonna see who has more favors to call in here. Sad that it's come to this as MT and WKU are both deserving, and I think everyone agrees.

Still crossing my fingers that somehow LA Tech is the one getting left out in all of this mess.

Let's not talk about 2007.
Better be a secret vote...

Ish will be effd in the future if it isnt..

Z

Ps Best of luck to both teams..
