NIU is still alive!
2 great conference championship games tonight.

Great day for football fans!
Yes, but I suspect UCLA's close loss and NIU's close win over Kent will allow the BCS coaches to "stiff" NIU in relation to other schools in the voting and I look for the MAC to be on the "outside looking in" when the BCS final rankings are confirmed. No matter...it was a great MACC, and NIU is a great MAC champion! Good luck to all the MAC teams bowling this year! Now, let's root for UConn and Pitt to lose this weekend so we can have 6 MAC teams bowling (and winning!).
They can't fix the computers and NIU will get a nice computer boost, whicle UCLA will take a hit.

Exactly, that just might save the Dawgs.

Meteorologists never sleep. Weather is always changing. Besides he was probably trying to forecast the weather for Miami(I mean besides nice and cozy warm) for the Orange Bowl. Not to mention the weather for Mobile and Boise.
Alright MAC fans, this is what to root for.

#6 Kansas State over #18 Texas
TCU over #11 Oklahoma
Wisconsin over #12 Nebraska
GT over #13 FSU
Nicholls State over #15 Oregon State (Nicholls State has 1 win this season. A 73-17 beatdown on Evangel)
Nevada over #20 Boise (not key, but I suspect if Boise wins there will still be some coaches who have them over NIU, so them losing can't hurt)
Baylor over #23 OK State
I guess I should throw in Kansas over WVU. Long shot and I do not completely understand the computers, but I would imagine an upset there would significantly help NIU in the computers.

On that note, is Army/Navy not factored into the final BCS standings since it is not for another week? I ask since NIU beat Army.

I am still not convinced OK losing is a good thing. They would probably drop a few spots(like #16) and there is no way NIU will pass Oklahoma. It might just squeeze NIU out of the top 16.

Everyone has Oklahoma in front of NIU if they win... If they lose, a couple people might move NIU in front of Oklahoma. It isn't just #15 in the coaches vs. #16 in the coaches. It is votes possible. If Oklahoma losing gives NIU more votes, NIU benefits.
OK State losing to Baylor. That is a good start. Oregon State up on Nicholls as expected. Oklahoma sneaks by TCU.

Yes, Oklahoma State's loss is really important to NIU's chances. NIU was behind Ok. St. in five of the seven computers, and should now pass them in at least three.
Boise having its way with Nevada. Could they stay ahead of NIU with blowout? Many were thinking NIU would pass them.

I think NIU passes them. NIU just beat a ranked team...
