Since so many people had decided to jump on the Bulls for our tickets sales. Heres a link where it says Mizzou has sold 1200 to the independence Bowk and plans on selling 3,000 at best. South Carolina their opponent has sold 6,000

and according to the CUSA boards.
Memphis has sold 2,000 for Motor City Bowl
Southern Miss 2,000 for NO Bowl.
I'm not surprised by some of these ticket sales.

How many fans do you think Colorado will take with it to the Champs bowl? 500?

Many of these bowls are TV driven, and without ESPN they would disappear.

I suspect that when it is all said and done, South Florida fans will step to the plate and buy a solid number of tickets.

I'm not making excuses for the Tigers, but the game is on Dec. 26th at 4:00 pm, and it's a 12 hour drive from Memphis...I mean really, that's a difficult proposition. We've booked every airline flight from Memphis, Nashville, and St. Louis on Sunday and Monday and sold out 2 large charters. We'll end up with about 2,500 there, and I can live with that.

UCONN took around 12K to the same game last year. The distance is about the same. Man the Motor City Bowl is going to be empty this year. Last year they set record attendence at 54K I believe.

It was UCONN's 1st bowl ever. Memphis took over 15k to out first bowl ever. It's dissapointing to say the least, but it is what it is. Detroit the day after Christmas doesn't get many people excited.
Colorado has sold around 500 to Champs Bowl in Orlando. yeah those Big12 teams are really bringing in the fans

Nice job Cubano....good research.

USF will likely have 5-6K fans at Charlotte, which is pretty good for a bowl game in Charlotte in the dead of Winter. It gives us something to build on for future bowl games.

Not a knock on Charlotte but there isn't a major compelling reason or attraction to travel to Charlotte other than a football game. Some of us are planning sidetrips to Asheville before the game or Savannah on the way back to make the trip more than just a "football game" kind of experience.

You can see a lot more in Charlotte than you can in Ashville unless you're just going to see the Vanderbilt mansion. That's only in one place, Ashville. The night life in Charlotte is there if you know where to go; I don't know about Ashville, but I'm sure it doesn't measure up to Charlotte.
Not sure if this is true, but I heard Neveda only sold 75 tickets to the Hawaii bowl? Is that for real? Why bother even invite those teams? Damn I guess they better hope Hawaii is bowl eligible every damn year.
