The Big 10 adds Georgia Tech and Virginia?
Don't we think that the Big 12 will aim for Florida State and Clemson? Then whereas the ACC? Left to raid the big east again?
This is getting stupid. The ACC could lookl like the big east did, and the big east will look more and more like a hybrid CUSA. When does it end?

I think the B1G adds UVA and ND. The ACC adds UConn. The Big XII adds FSU, Clemson, BYU and GT. The ACC adds USF, Temple and Cincy. The Big East then either raids CUSA/MAC/MWC/SBC or no longer sponsors FB.

After we're dead? There are still pretty strong rumblings that the ACC will get raided. No way to tell if that really happens yet. Now. Or later. Or never.

And with such a prognosis, you expect us to jump at an invitation and be grateful for it? Maybe you are wrong or maybe you are right and our President is stupid enough to accept anyway. But the only way that this conference survives as a football playing conference is to form a real western division -- and that central fact does not change, even if we decide to go down with the ship with you.

Do you western guys think Aresco has never considered a true western division? Of course he has. At this point, it's obvious that it's not the best way to go, and I'm sure that's what the network guys are telling him.
