I will miss C-USA, but we've had a LONG history with both of you, I for one would HATE to see it end. I would like to see us continue to play, on a home and home basis moving foward and will push for it, not that my word directly to TH would have any real effect, but I will voice my opinion to him.

As AndreWare said in another thread, everyone says they still want to play us. Fine, vote to add us and we'll play you. Otherwise, no. Nothing personal, just not interested in playing you all OOC when we've been left behind again.
If football is not possible, an annual baseball series would be nice.
Its not ECUs fault they left us behind. I hope we still find a way to play ECU. It really is a good relationship we have with ECU in all 3 major sports.

god yes, please. Love the USM players, they are cool, they like playing at CLS, many good times messing with them, especially the left fielders.
But, I'd still want football, we've played every year since what 83? I'd hate to see that end, even though you had the better end more times than not.

If it were up to me USM would be added. It sucks, but I can't lie and say I didn't want to get into another confrence, the BE is okay, but it's not the BE I wanted ECU to join, VT, WVU, Pitt, Cuse are gone, those are the teams I wanted be in a confrence with, along with USM and Marshall.
ECU fans.... I'm not going to lie, this really stinks right now as a Marshall fan.
I know you guys have been wrongfully left behind many of times so you of all people know how we feel. I am not bitter towards you guys. In fact, I am happy for you. I considered it an honor to be in a conference with you guys and have always been proud to call you our conference mate. I am happy for you guys because you deserve it. I think that's one of the many reasons I loved having you all in the conference. I knew we were lucky to have you and couldn't believe you were left behind with us.
Best of luck to you guys, and I hope to one day be conference mates again. Until then, I hope we can continue to play each other home and home!
Hopefully Herd and USM will get the nod in the near future.

Good luck guys.. I hate it that we won't be playing each other anymore. At least we have Southern Miss.
ECU is the only school I hate to see go, could give a rats ass about the others.
I think our administration knows the relationship ECU has with USM and Marshall in particular but I plan on writing to TH and company making sure they know that the fans want the relationships to continue. Like the op said, not that my opinion is particularly important, but I'll do whatever is in my power to see us continue to play Marshall and USM, ideally in the same conference again in the not too distant future.

We aren't NC State, UNC, WVU, etc. we'll do home and homes, we aren't snobs, we know that side of the road all to well and hate being the team other look at and say only at our place. I like going to USM and Marshall. I'm making the trip to Marshall next year anyway, only now it will mean a little more.
