I read somewhere syracuse paid an exit fee to the big east to join the big east. I expect all this conference shuffling might result in different names for leagues but not much else. Sure the fat might get cut some but who knows how it will end. I like the concept of a 60 team big 10 with six 10 team divisions and an 8 team playoff. They got a network to freeze out espn, cbs, etc. and make huge $ for everybody + no more NCaa to deal with.

Not really for me. If Tulane is considered a quality addition then the Big East has clearly given up on being a strong football conference.
