It does not hurt further it takes away from the possibility of coming in too confident.

More motivation is a good thing especially for a team that loves feeling like they are being slighted.

This should be a high scoring game. Archer on turf in doors could be the difference. I predict Kent St 56 NIU 52. This will be a track meet. This should a classic. Two 11-1 team that have won 10 or more in a row. MAC has its title game with BCS implications.

NIU has the 15th best defense in the country (17.5 per game) and you think they're going to give up 52?

I dont think there has been this much traffic on this board this late in the year since I joined. Im loving it, now if we could just repeat this for basketball and baseball season!!

Spread down to 4.5. That was fast.

Going down 2 points so quickly means people are putting their $$$ on Kent State, I expected that but not so soon.

I was thinking the spread would be about 4 points so the change isn't too surprising to me. Should be a good game.

I don't think this is last year's MAC. The scores in the sixties and fifties aren't happening like they did last year. Some teams actually played defense first.

Line back up to 6 in most places. I can take a guess as to what happened. Rankings came out Sunday night with Kent ahead. Public sees rankings, bets up Kent St. Sharps wait for the line to lower a bit and get NIU at -4.5 - -5.5, instead of at the original -6.5.
